Nicolas Bonnet (cyclist)

Nicolas Bonnet (born March 21, 1988 ) is a former French cyclist .

Nicolas Bonnet was third in the 2006 French championship in the junior class individual time trial . In the 2009 season he won a stage at the Tour du Loiret and he was national runner-up in the U23 time trial. The next year he was able to win the title. Before that, he finished fifth in the individual time trial at the U23 European Championship. In the 2011 season, Bonnet drove for the French Continental Team Roubaix Lille Métropole and then ended his cycling career.

Nicolas Bonnet is the son of Patrick Bonnet , who was also a professional cyclist from 1979 to 1986. Among other things, he drove for the French cycling team Renault . His greatest success was the overall victory at the Tour de Picardie in 1980. His brother Eric Bonnet was also a professional cyclist from 1982 to 1984. In 1983 they rode together at Wolber-Spidel .
