The Niebergall Fountain is a fountain and monument in Darmstadt .
History and description
The Niebergall fountain was completed in 1930 and designed by the sculptor Well Habicht . It stands on the edge of the Große Bachgasse on the former island .
A square stone pillar with Niebergall - Relief and figures from his literary works are in the upper part of the column. In the lower half there is a round drinking water basin on the column, at the back there is an animal trough. The metal gargoyle was worked out as an animal head.
