Niederrheinrad

The Niederrheinrad is a bike rental system . The main rental station (base station) is located in Moers . There are 55 rental stations in the region, most of which are located at the train stations. This service enables tourists and locals to cycle without having to bring their own bike (e.g. on the train). The bike (s) can be borrowed or ordered via the Internet. The price depends on the length of the rental period.

The Niederrheinrad was funded with 2.25 million euros from the NRW experience program until 2011 .
