Lower Saxony Ju-Jutsu Association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lower Saxony Ju-Jutsu Association (NJJV) is a sports association that takes care of the maintenance and dissemination of the sport of Ju-Jutsu . The NJJV is the association authorized to represent in Lower Saxony and is a member of the Lower Saxony State Sports Association and the German Ju-Jutsu Association and thus a link between the clubs and public organizations (e.g. Lower Saxony State Government and the German Olympic Sports Association ).

structure

The NJJV is an association structured on a voluntary basis and is led by a voluntary presidium and board.

The Presidium consists of five members:

  • president
  • Vice President Finance
  • Vice President Competitive Sports
  • Vice President of Popular Sports
  • Vice President Youth

The board consists of a total of 14 members. In addition to the five members of the Presidium, these are:

  • the four chairmen of the district associations (Braunschweig, Hanover, Lüneburg and Weser-Ems)
  • Sports director
  • Director authorities
  • Director of teaching
  • Director of Examinations
  • Director target groups

In some cases, special representatives are subordinate to the board of directors; The national coaching team (3 members) is subordinate to the sporting director and head coach.

But there are also independent agents. For example, the special dovetailing of Ju-Jutsu and the executive branch with special and independent officers for the police, federal police and justice is taken into account.

In addition to the structural level, the association is also subdivided into a territorial level. Based on the former administrative districts in Lower Saxony, there is also this subdivision in the association:

  • Braunschweig district
  • Hanover district
  • Lueneburg district
  • Weser-Ems district
  • District police

This fact helps the large area of Lower Saxony and the voluntary association structure, since individual independent boards are elected in the districts. This enables more effective work on site.

Popular sport

More recent trends also show a mixture with a variety of other sports that are not derived from martial arts, such as B. gymnastics, aerobics or fitness training.

Ju-Jutsu for everyone is the motto of the sport. This is also reflected in the association's motto “With security - attitude to life!”.

competitive sport

In competitive sports, the NJJV offers many offers such as courses, training camps, targeted selection and promotion of athletes. In addition to the head coach and the sports director on the board and organization, a specialized team takes care of the athletes in the fighting and duo disciplines .

  • Fighting: Fighting is 1-on-1 about defeating the opponent on points in all 3 fought out parts. In addition to punching and kicking techniques (Part 1), throwing techniques (Part 2) and in the ground (Part 3). The winner is whoever has the most points at the end or who receives a large rating in each category.
  • Duo: In the duo there are 20 predefined attacks on which the athletes have to show the most perfect defense combination possible. During long-term training, they study the defensive effects close to perfection in order to be able to demonstrate them in competitions. There are always men against men (duo men), women against women (duo women) or man / woman against man / woman (duo mixed).
  • Ne-Waza / BJJ: The pure ground fight is offered in various clubs. Since this competitive discipline in Ju-Jutsu is still quite new, it is only practiced by a few. The NJJV actively advocates the promotion of the BJJ and offers individual targeted measures.

At the German championship in 2014, the NJJV made it to the top of the national league and took 3rd place in the country ranking. The 2015 German Championship will be held in Winsen an der Luhe in Lower Saxony .
