Niels Oude Kamphuis (born November 14, 1977 in Hengelo ) is a former Dutch football player .
Oude Kamphuis started his career at VV NEO Borne . In 1991 he moved to the youth team of FC Twente Enschede . He made the leap into the professional squad in 1994. In the summer of 1999, he moved to FC Schalke 04 . With Schalke, he won the DFB Cup in 2001 and 2002 . For the 2005/06 season Oude Kamphuis moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach . There he was rarely used due to various injuries. For the 2006/07 season he returned to FC Twente Enschede for family reasons. After a non-healing injury to the Achilles tendon , he retired after the season.
Oude Kamphuis played a game for the Dutch national team. In the 2-0 win in the friendly at White Hart Lane against England on August 15, 2001, he came on in the 81st minute for Phillip Cocu .
