The Nielsen & Nielsen Holding is a Danish industrial holding company with approximately 1,700 employees.
In 1953 the engineer Bror Kruse founded the company Micro Matic , a manufacturer of dispensing systems. In 1974, five senior executives took over the company through a management buyout . Today the company is owned by Nielsen & Nielsen Holding von Svend-Aage and Carl Christian Nielsen.
In 1989 the roller shutter manufacturer Nassau Door was bought. In 1998 the Cologne company Thelen & Rodenkirchen was taken over. In 2015 the subsidiary Triax was sold to Polaris Private Equity .
