The Nihon Joshi Daigaku ( Japanese 日本 女子 大学 , dt. "Japanese Women's University", short: 本 女 , honjo ) is a private university for women with locations in the Bunkyō - ku of Tokyo and the Tama- ku of Kawasaki. It was founded in 1901 by the entrepreneur Jinzō Naruse . The music for the opening was supposedly written by Raphael von Koeber .
