Nika Lubitsch

Nika Lubitsch (* 1953 , real name: Monika von Ramin ) is a German crime writer . She was best known for her self-published crime novels , which became bestsellers . Her debut novel The 7th Day alone has sold around 350,000 copies to date and was made into the ZDF TV film of the week in 2017 . In total, they have sold around 1 million books.

She has been a full-time writer since her breakthrough in 2013.

In 2015 she was a member of the jury for the German Amazon Indie Author Award ( Kindle Storyteller Award ).

Lubitsch lives with her husband in Berlin-Zehlendorf .

Along with Poppy J. Anderson and Catherine Shepherd, she is one of the few authors in Germany who have become millionaires with self-publishing .
