Nikandre

Nikandre ( ancient Greek Νικάνδρη Nikandrē , Latinized Nicandra ) was a weaver in Greek mythology in the service of Alkinoë , the daughter of Polybos and wife of Amphilochus .

After working without pay, she begged retribution from Athena , who she avenged.
