Nikias I (potter)
Nikias ( Greek Νικίας ) was an Attic potter from Athens . Only one early signed Panathenaic price amphora is known of him, dating from around 560–550 BC. Is dated. This amphora was also signed by the vase painter Sikelos . It is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City , inventory number 1978.11.13.
