Nikias II (potter)

Nikias ( Greek  Νικίας ), son of Hermocles, was an Attic potter, active around 420–400 BC. In Athens .

It is only recognized by its signature on the foot of a red-figure bell crater in London, British Museum Inv. 1898.7-16.6 known. In addition to the name of his otherwise unknown father, he also mentions his Deme Anaphlystos. The Nikias painter is named after him.
