Nicias painter
The Nikias Painter was an Attic-Greek vase painter of the red-figure style . His creative period dates from around 420 to 400 BC. Dated. It got its emergency name after a bell crater signed by the potter Nikias in the British Museum London, Inv. 1898.7-16.6. He mainly painted bell craters .
