Nikita Mikhailovich Plaksin

Nikita Michailowitsch Plaksin ( Russian: Никита Михайлович Плаксин ; born July 9, 1931 , Moscow ) is a Russian chess composer and author of fifty articles on retro analysis . He is an engineer in hydrotechnology by profession.

Chess composition

Since 1964 he has published more than a thousand retro compositions and received 220 awards. Ninety prizes were among them, fifteen of which were first prizes. He is the editor of the retro-analysis department of the magazine Shachmatnaja Komposizija . In 1989 Plaksin was appointed International Chess Composition Referee .
