Nikolai Alexandrowitsch Durakow ( Russian: Николай Александрович Дураков ; born October 5, 1934 in Krasnogorovka , Donetsk Oblast , Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a former Russian bandy player . He is considered one of the most successful bandy players of all time and is a seven-time world champion.

Durakov played for SKA-Sverdlovsk in what is now Yekaterinburg . For the club he completed a total of 459 games between 1954 and 1976, in which he scored 588 goals. With Sverdlovsk he won the Soviet bandy championship nine times during this time. Seven more times he was runner-up, three times with his club third.

Durakov played 50 times for the Soviet national team and scored 48 goals. In 1957, 1963, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1971 and 1973 he became world champion. In 1965 he was the top scorer of the world championships.

In 1963 he was named the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR.
