Nikolla Onufri

Nikolla was the son of the Albanian icon painter Onufri . His father's name is often given as a cognomen . He lived in the second half of the 16th century, adopted his father's style and continued his workshop. Nikolla worked in Berat , among other places , where he completely decorated the church of the Dormition of Mary in the castle with frescoes .
