Ninatta and Kulitta
Ninatta and Kulitta (in Ugarit : nnt klt ) are the servants of the Hurrian goddess Šauška . They can also be called together as Ninattanni or Kulittanni. They belong to the benevolent servants and are often mentioned together with Šauška. In the Ḫedammu myth, they accompany them to the sea and support them in beguiling the sea monster.
Ninatta and Kulitta are often depicted together with Šauška. A Hittite picture description depicts Šauška as a seated goddess with wings, in front of her lies a silver-plated awiti lion with wings, to the right and left of the wings are Ninatta and Kulitta, both made of silver, their eyes made of gold. In the Hittite rock sanctuary Yazılıkaya they are depicted together with Šauška in the male gods procession. Ninatta (relief 37) carries a bottle of ointment, Kulitta (relief 36) holds a mirror.
