Nisi

Nisi ('Campione del Mondo') was an Italian rim manufacturer from Milan .

For racing bikes in particular, the company first built steel rims and then aluminum hollow-wall rims for tubular tires and normal tires. Fausto Coppi won the 1953 World Championship on gold anodized Nisi rims. In addition to its competitors Mavic and Rigida , Nisi was one of the main rim suppliers for Tour de France teams until the early 1980s . In 1988 the company stopped production.

The "Corsa Stretto" model was the widespread Nisi model, the G27 the luxury model.

Today the brand name and the former logo of the manufacturer GPM are used for MTB, hybrid and trekking wheelsets.
