Nkalinzi

Nkalinzi (also Kalinzi ) is a village in the region of Kigoma in Tanzania . Nkalinzi lies at 1,811 meters above sea level, 24 kilometers from the Burundian border.

5,680 people live within the settlement and up to 35,000 in a larger area. The largest market in the region is located in Nkalinzi. The people here mainly sell cassava , beans, tomatoes, corn and plantains , which they grow for a living. Many residents also work in coffee cultivation .
