Hermann Schulz (born July 21, 1938 in Nkalinzi , Tanzania ) is a German writer and former publisher .

Life

Hermann Schulz was born as the son of a German missionary in East Africa , but grew up in Germany. He went to a bookseller in the mining and worked in the hired house as a tractor . After a trip around the world, he was the successor to the future Federal President Johannes Rau and headed the Peter Hammer Verlag in Wuppertal from 1967 to 2001 . Hermann Schulz is a regular contributor to the AMOS magazine in the field of literature and international understanding; he is also active in the Christian-Islamic Working Group Marl . He is a member of the PEN Center Germany .
