Nkoranza

Nkoranza is a city in Ghana . It is the district capital of the Nkoranza District in the Bono East Region . In the 2000 census, the population was 21,715. In 1960 there were only 6,250.
With St. Theresa's Hospital , Nkoranza has a hospital with 90 beds, an operating theater, X-ray and ultrasound machines and a laboratory. One of the cultural highlights is the annual Apoo Festival .
