Noëlle Revaz (* 1968 in Vernayaz , Canton of Valais ) is a Swiss writer.

Life

Noëlle Revaz studied Latin and French at the University of Lausanne until 1995 .

Her first novel Rapport aux bêtes , published in 2002, was awarded a prize by the Swiss Schiller Foundation, translated into several languages ​​and adapted for the theater. Roger Willemsen wrote about it: "I don't remember a more convincing debut from the last few years, and no book like it has haunted me in a long time." In 2009, the film based on the novel Cœur Animal was awarded the Swiss Film Prize.

Her second novel, Efina , was published in 2009. In 2014, her third novel, L'infini livre , was published, which received the Swiss Literature Prize. Revaz also writes short stories, plays, radio plays and children's books.
