The Jagdschloss Hochalm is a hunting lodge in Frohnleiten in Styria . It belongs to the village of Gamsgraben .

The hunting lodge is located on the Hochalpe , north of the saddle when Almwirt (Diebsweg), on the southwest edge slightly below the main ridge, in about 1200  m above sea level. A. Elevation. It belongs to the Mayr-Melnhof family and is on the territory of the Franz Mayr-Melnhof-Saurau forestry company, the largest private forestry company in Austria.

In the early summer of 1960, the Shah of Persia Mohammad Reza Pahlavi visited Austria. As part of this state visit, the Shah privately visited Count Goess-Saurau, who invited the Shah to lunch in the Jagdhaus on the Hochalm. After lunch, wood processing plants were visited.
