The Noel Hill is a 255 m high and prominent hill from shale on King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises on the Barton Peninsula in the west of the island.
The name probably goes back to the Scottish geologist David Ferguson , who visited King George Island between 1913 and 1914 and who had taken up the earlier naming by whalers. The further naming background has not been passed down.
