A Noge Titanium in Berlin-Mitte

Noge SL is a bus manufacturer based in the Catalan city of Arbúcies in the province of Girona , Spain . The company's flagship product and image bearer is the strikingly designed Titanium high-decker bus .

history

The company was founded in 1964 by Miquel Genabat Puig , a former worker at the coachbuilder Ayats , which is also based in Arbúcies . Initially, simple city buses were produced .

In 1978, the relocation of the workshop to the outskirts made it possible to expand production. Since then, coaches for tourism in Spain , one of the most important economic factors in the country, and later also luxury buses for the international market have been offered. Another assembly site was created in 2001 in the city of Perpignan in the south of France . The company's founder died in 2010; he had previously transferred the company to his son Miquel Genabat .

Models

Noge mainly offers medium and large coaches (in classic to luxury versions) as well as city buses. In addition, apron buses are manufactured. The vehicles are produced on the basis of chassis from European manufacturers, including Volvo , Scania , MAN , Iveco Bus and Daewoo Bus . Marketing focuses on five models:

  • Cittour , a three-door city bus (12 or 13 m long). The arrangement and number of seats and standing places is based on national regulations and customer requirements.
  • Cittour Low Entry , a two-door city bus with low-floor technology (12 or 13 m length).
  • Touring , a high-decker coach (12 to 15 m in length). This is the company's best-selling model.
  • Titanium , a luxury high-decker bus (12 to 15 m long, also as a three-axle vehicle) with 49 to 71 seats. Because of the unusual front and cockpit design, the model is considered unmistakable.
  • Aertour , an airport apron bus (13.5 m long) with 92 standing and seats.
