The 'November pear ' (also 'Nojabrskaja', 'Xenia' or 'Oksana') is a variety of pear ( Pyrus communis ). It is a cross of ' Triomphe de Vienne ' × ' Decana ' N. Krier, which was carried out in Moldova in 1962 . It gets its name 'November pear' from its short harvest time ( season ) from mid-September to the end of November. The fruit of the 'November pear' is one of the largest pears and is characterized by its juiciness.
