A vernier connector is an individual part from assembly technology with which a high level of accuracy can be achieved.

The principle of different scales corresponds to the vernier principle . The picture shows that the bars can be connected in two places with screws or split pins.

This method is widely used in construction for installing suspended ceilings.

In the picture example, 10 and 9 mm have been selected for the different hole spacings. This achieves an accuracy of ± 0.5 mm. If necessary, the difference can be reduced.

A corresponding annular arrangement can also be used for hoisting machines .
