Nooa Takooa
Nooa Takooa (born March 10, 1993 in Tarawa ) is a Kiribati athlete who specializes in the sprint courses .
He competed in his first major international competition in 2009 at the World Championships in Berlin, where he was eliminated in eighth place over 100 meters. His time of 11.74 seconds was his personal best back then.
At the national championships in Kiribati he was third in the 100 meters and second in the 200 meters. In the same year he took part in the Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.
In 2012 he was a member of his country's three-man squad at the London Olympics . Over 100 meters, he was able to improve his personal best to 11.53 seconds.
