Norbert Rosing

Norbert Rosing (* 1953 in Münsterland ) is a German nature and animal photographer .

Rosing completed training as a businessman, nurse and served as a soldier.

Since the 1980s he has been working on the subject of polar bears in North America and has published several series of images in National Geographic . He has been working as a professional photographer since 1992 and has published several illustrated books on German national parks as well as photo series for GEO and National Geographic.

He grew up in Wettringen (Münsterland) and now lives with his wife in Grafrath .
