Norbert Schäfer

Norbert Schäfer (* 1956 in Eschwege ) is a German piano teacher , pianist and composer.

Life

Norbert Schäfer studied music in Kassel with a major in piano with Rudolf Kratzert. Pedagogical and pianistic training with Peter Heilbut (Hamburg) and Rolf-Dieter Arens (Weimar) followed. Since 1994 he has published compositions for piano. With a certain wealth of ideas he opens up the compositional techniques and musical developments of the 20th century in the low to medium level of difficulty for piano. In the form and structure of the piano pieces, he was inspired by the painting of Classical Modernism.
