Norbert Teipel
Norbert Teipel (born March 1, 1951 in Brilon ) is a former German long jumper .
Teipel began his sporting career at TuS 1920 Hoppecke and then moved to SV Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In 1969 he was German youth champion indoors and outdoors. In 1972 he was German Junior Champion. In 1973 he became German indoor runner-up and finished seventh in his only start in the national jersey at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Rotterdam .
He set his personal best of 7.49 m on August 13, 1972 in Berlin .
After his career, Teipel did voluntary work in sport, so he was a member of the school football committee of the West German Football Association .
