Nordic Optical Telescope
The Nordic Optical Telescope ( NOT ) is an astronomical telescope with a mirror diameter of 2.56 m located on the Roque de los Muchachos observatory on the Canary Island of La Palma . Denmark , Sweden , Iceland , Norway and Finland financed the construction, which was completed in 1989. Since then, researchers around the world have been able to use the telescope.
