Nordliicht TV is a regional television broadcaster in Luxembourg that was launched by Irène Pissinger-Engelmann and Johny Pissinger in 1996. The first broadcast was on April 23, 1997. Nordliicht TV reports mainly on the north of Luxembourg and can be received via cable and satellite .
Nordliicht TV is politically neutral. The regional television station is financed by sponsors and supported by all northern municipalities.
The aim of Nordliicht TV is to enliven the north of Luxembourg, an area with a population of just under 70,000, through contributions on a cultural, traditional and political level and to give it media coverage.
