The Nordmarkhalle is a listed building on Willy-Brandt-Platz near the Rendsburg train station , which was inaugurated on August 9, 1913 as a municipal cattle hall. Because the hall was initially the scene of cattle auctions , it is popularly known as the bull temple . Today the building serves as an event center, in which weekly markets , antique and flea markets , lost property auctions and in the multi-purpose hall on the upper floor concerts take place regularly in the market hall under the sponsorship of the city of Rendsburg . In addition to the market hall and the concert room, which has seating for up to 1,700 people, the premises also include a gallery space for smaller events and a guest room in the basement .

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Nordmarkhalle in 2013, the band Torfrock gave a concert here on August 10, 2013. In addition, annual markets (spring, summer and autumn market) and circus performances are held three times a year on the forecourt .
