Shaoyang North Pagoda

The Northern Pagoda of Shaoyang or Northern Pagoda of Shaoyang ( Chinese  邵阳 北 塔 , Pinyin Shàoyáng Běitǎ ) is located on the north bank of the Zi Shui in the district of Beita of the district-free city of Shaoyang in the Chinese province of Hunan . The octagonal pagoda was built in 1570 in the time of the Ming Dynasty , is 26 m high and has seven floors.

It has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-365) since 2001 .
