Norm Malloy
Norman Joseph "Norm" Malloy (born September 27, 1913 in Kinkora , Ontario , † December 16, 1964 ) was a Canadian ice hockey player . At the Olympic Winter Games in 1932 , he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.
Career
Norm Malloy began his career as a hockey player with the Elmwood Millionaires, for which he was active in the 1929/30 season. He then played for a year for the Regina Victoria before he was on the ice from 1931 to 1934 for the Selkirk Fishermen in the Manitoba Hockey League. In 1932 he also ran on short term for the Winnipeg Hockey Club, with which he took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics. In the 1934/35 season he played nine games for the Timmins McIntyre Miners before ending his career at the age of 22.
International
For Canada , Malloy took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , where he won the gold medal with his team.
