The Northern Territory Geological Survey (abbreviation NTGS) is the supreme geoscientific authority of the Australian state of Northern Territory . Its seat is in Darwin . Another office is maintained in Alice Springs .

The geological service sees its task in promoting the understanding of the geoscientific framework conditions in the state of Northern Territory and in the exploration of mineral resources. To meet these concerns, data collections are created and managed.
