Rodica Radian-Gordon
Rodica Radian-Gordon (born July 10, 1957 in Bucharest , Romania ) is an Israeli diplomat .
Live and act
In the early 1960s, Radian-Gordon's family decided to leave Romania. Due to bureaucratic obstacles, however, they could not emigrate to Israel until 1963, where they settled in Tel-Aviv . Radian-Gordon studied biology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem from 1980 . In 1982 she received her Master of Science degree in biochemistry . In 1987 she received her PhD in biochemistry ( Ph.D. ). From 1991 to 1993 she attended the Diplomatic Academy of the Israeli Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem. From 1993 to 1996 she was second secretary at the Israeli embassy in Warsaw , and from 1996 to 1999 first secretary at the Israeli representation to the European Community in Brussels . After holding a number of posts in the Israeli Foreign Ministry , she became Israeli ambassador to her country of birth in 2003. Radian-Gordon stayed in Romania until 2007. From August 2010 to 2015, she was Israeli ambassador to Mexico and non-resident ambassador to the Bahamas . She has been the Israeli ambassador to Spain since September 2019.
Radian-Gordon is married and has three children.
