The nostalgia museum was a private museum in the Hofdorf district of the city of Wörth an der Donau in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria . It was located in the building ensemble of a former forester's house , which is classified as a monument . The museum existed from June 1, 1997 to October 4, 2015.

The former museum was located in a former princely forest office built in 1845. The collection areas of the nostalgia museum were diverse and covered the period from 1800 to 1950. Office equipment, school items, glasses, porcelain, sacred and folklore exhibits , as well as historical tin toys and small aircraft models were collected and exhibited in a total of five buildings . Some rooms, for example the bathroom, photo studio or Biedermeier room including accessories for adults and children, were fully furnished. There were also phono, television, radio and film departments as well as projection departments and a collection of dollhouses . In an adjoining building, among other things, vintage cars , a printing shop, a cobbler's shop, a fashion shop and a general store were housed. One barn was dedicated to agriculture .

For groups such as school classes or clubs, there was action programs, so Uropas fire drill , Uromas laundry day , papermaking , games like the old days , kite crafts , metal and bustle , forging .
