The notary specialist is a technical term in the notarial field, employees with responsible activities. The second advanced training level provides notary assistants with the knowledge, skills and experience to independently prepare and handle all activities in the notary's office. This test is usually a prerequisite for working as an office manager .

The training program lasts approximately 16 months. It is divided into a total of 6 weekly courses of 40 lessons each. The training concludes with a four-day written and an oral exam.

Prerequisites for admission to the course are admission at the earliest 2 years after passing the advanced training examination of the first level or 4 years for competent employees of a lawyer notary as well as employment with a notary or lawyer notary in the area of ​​the Rhineland notary's office.
