history

The Notartreuhandbank was entered in the Austrian commercial register on April 4, 1997. After six months, around 100 notaries were integrated into the payment system. From March 1, 2000, it became mandatory that all trusts from 137,600 Schillings (around 10,000 euros) are to be processed by the notaries through the special bank. The deposit balance at that time was around 3.8 billion schillings (around 27 million euros).

All 515 Austrian notaries are currently cooperating with the notary trust bank.
