Nuno Teixeira (politician)
Nuno José Dias Teixeira (born January 13, 1973 in Funchal ) is a Portuguese politician of the Partido Social Democrata .
Life
Teixeira studied law at the University of Coimbra . From 1996 to 2000 Teixeira worked as a lawyer in Portugal. In the youth organization of his party he held a number of leading positions. From 2000 to 2009 he was a deputy in the cabinet of the Vice President of the Regional Government of Madeira Island . Teixeira has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
