Nurlan Jerikbajuly Äubäkirow ( Kazakh Нұрлан Ерікбайұлы Әубәкіров , Russian Нурлан Ерикбаевич Аубакиров ; born December 29, 1975 in Karaganda , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician.

Life

Nurlan Äubäkirow was born in Karaganda in 1975 . In 1997 he graduated from Karaganda State University with a degree in economics. Three years later a further degree from the Kazakh Humanitarian University came in Law added.

From October 1997 to July 1998 he worked for the Karagandinskogo bjudschetnogo banka. He then worked in the Kazakh Ministry of Finance between 1998 and 2000 before holding various positions in the regional administration of the Karagandy region .

From May 2005 to July 2006 he worked in the administration of the Qasybek Bi district of the city of Karagandy. From 2006 to 2007 he was head of the housing and communal services, passenger transport and highways department of Karagandy. In December 2007 he got a job in the administration of the Karagandy Region. From April 2009 on, Äubäkirow was Äkim (mayor) of the Qasybek Bi district in Karagandy. After a little over a year, he left this position as he was appointed Deputy Mayor of Karagandy. Between July 2011 and May 2012, he held the position of mayor of the Oktyabr district in Karagandy. He then left his hometown, as he was appointed Äkim of the city of Balqash on May 29, 2012 . Since June 28, 2014, Äubäkirow has been Äkim of Karagandy.
