Nyborg Præstegård
Nyborg Præstegård is the old rectory of Vor Frue Kirke (Church of Our Lady) in the Danish town of Nyborg on Funen on the west coast of the Great Belt . It is considered the oldest rectory in Denmark.
The two-storey Gothic brick house is in Korsbrødregade (Kreuzbrüdergasse = Johannitergasse), which leads south around the church. It was built around 1400 and first mentioned in 1405. In 1535 the house was rebuilt. In the 17th century it was up to the step-gable firewall of the neighboring west Korsbrødregården extended (Johanniter house). Several (rectangular) windows were changed at some point and later reconstructed. A small pointed arch window has been preserved in the east wall.
