The Nyknausen ( Norwegian for New Rock ) is a 99 m high and rocky hill in the south of the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic . It rises to the west of Cape Fie in the eastern section of the Vogt coast .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1980.
