The Nymphensee is a 2.18 hectare body of water in Rangsdorf , a municipality in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .
The lake is located in the northern part of the district of Rangsdorf. To the east, the federal highway 96 passes in a north-south direction. The Nymphenseeweg runs to the north, the Kleine Strandallee to the west and the Eichendorffweg to the south. It was created as a quarry pond through the extraction of gravel and sand. It is used for swimming, fishing and boating in the 21st century. In the lake there are stocks of pike, perch, carp and catfish.
