ORB ( The Original Rudeboys ) are an Irish hip-hop band formed in 2011 and consisting of Seán Arkins, Robert Burch and Seán Walsh. The band makes music purely acoustically, the vocals are accompanied by guitar and ukulele . Her style has been described as a mix between hip-hop and indie .
Band history
The three band members grew up together in Dublin and attended the same school, but initially went their own musical ways. The band formed in March 2011 after meeting a mutual friend.
The band achieved their greatest success to date with the album This Life , released in spring 2012 . The album came to number 3 on the Irish charts. The single Stars in My Eyes reached number 18 in the Irish singles charts in 2011, Never Gonna Walk Away in 2013 number 9. In 2014, their second studio album All We Are was released . It reached number 2 on the Irish charts.
