OBIS key figures

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

OBIS ( " Whether ject I dentification S ystem") Key figures (formerly EDIS ) can be used in electronic data communication in the energy market to measured values (amounts of energy meter readings) and also abstract data in the message types MSCONS and UTILMD clearly identifiable.

OBIS codes are an international standard and published in IEC 62056-61 for the medium of electrical energy.

Electric electricity meters that can be read out via Smart Message Language use OBIS key figures internally to categorize transmitted data points.
