ODIN (accident insurance)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The organization service for follow-up examinations (ODIN) of the statutory accident insurance organizes follow-up examinations for insured persons who have previously carried out activities with carcinogenic substances (with the exception of handling dust - see preventive health care (accident insurance) ).

To this end, employers are obliged to provide the employers' liability insurance association with a list of the employees concerned with information on the type, duration and level of exposure as well as the time of termination of the employment relationship. The employees are then given preventive occupational medical examinations up to the age of 75 . Participation in the examinations is free and voluntary.
