OHA fool brotherhood

The OHA-Narrenbruderschaft (OHA) is a fool's association founded in 1956 in the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet , the name of which is composed of the initial letters of the founding members, the fools' guilds from Ostrach , Herbertingen and Altshausen . The Scheer bridal guild was incorporated on December 14, 1968. The four member guilds also form a "landscape" of the Association of Free Upper Swabian Fools' Guilds (VFON).

history

The OHA jester brotherhood was founded on January 6, 1956 in the "Dreikönig" in Bad Saulgau . The Dorauszunft Saulgau made itself available as a founding sponsor. Were involved for

  • Ostrach: Guild Master Max Schmitt
  • Herbertingen: Guild master Alois Fischer
  • Altshausen: Guild master Fritz Maier
  • Saulgau (godfather): Guild master Karl Teufel

The first OHA meeting took place in Ostrach in 1956.

Structure and purpose

The OHA brotherhood includes four fools' guilds from Upper Swabia: the Bauzemeck guild Ostrach, the fool's guild Herbertingen, the fool's guild Altshausen and the bridal guild Scheer . The annual OHA meeting always takes place on the Sunday before the main carnival.
