OV7 is a Mexican pop group that has existed under this name since 2000.
Career
In 1989, a music band called La Onda Vaselina was founded . The band consisted of about ten children who performed Spanish versions of popular pop hits while singing and dancing. With seven albums, the group achieved high fame in Mexico. As the members got older, the concept was changed to a more "adult" pop group. The pop songs of the band OV7 reached the charts in Mexico, USA and Spain. The group was dissolved in 2003, but re-established in 2010.
